Brrraaaiiinn!

I was trying to capture a video of the boys sitting up, but instead caught Luke being silly. Jacob goes down in front of Luke and Luke thinks that Jacob's head looks appetizing. ;)

8 Month Update

As of their last physical therapy appointment, neither boy was rolling from the back to front. Two days later, they figured it out. Jacob is doing it like a pro; Luke has to be really interested in something to roll over. A couple other updates: * They are both mobile now. It's not officially crawling, but the push up and inch forward nonetheless. * Still no teeth, but we have some visible white in the upper part of both of their gums. * It seems like they are spitting up less! * Both are still snotty - I'm trying vitamins again instead of a daily antihistamine. Hopefully that will help them and their runny noses. * Jacob has figured out how to climb out of his car seat (unbuckled) - as in when he should be drinking his milk with the bottle sling. * Both boys are holding their 8oz bottles by themselves. We still use the slings in case they get side tracked and drop the bottle. * Jacob is able to go from the crawling position to sitting up. * Both boys are doing a great job sitting up by themselves!

The boys are now 7 months old and are doing great holding their own bottles. The do better with the smaller 4 oz, but we have them build their muscles with the 8 oz from time to time.

Mothers Day Weekend 2010 - Baby Dedication

Wow - So much happened this past weekend! On Saturday we had to go up to Millington to pick up Christian's truck. I caught a precious picture of Luke practicing driving 'Daddy's truck'.

That night we went out to eat with my parents and I was able to catch a cute, goofy picture with Luke and Grammy.

Today, on Mothers Day we dedicated Luke and Jacob to bringing them up in a christian God-fearing home.

Afterward we went to Grammy and Gramp's house to eat and play and visit with family. As with all occasions, I try to get some cute pictures of the boys while they are dressed up and in a good mood. :) To save blog page space, I have put together another slide show.

The boys have been making some great developmental steps these days. Just to name a few...

Twin Talk

The boys have their first ear infections. We took them to the Dr. yesterday since they were very very fussy. It turns out that Luke's right ear has an infection and Jacob has an infection in both. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the worst), Luke's is a 2 and Jacob's is 1....but they are still not happy campers.

While we were waiting for the Dr, Brooke and I got to witness the boys first "Twin Talk"
