Big Boy Swinging & Updates

The boys have been making some great developmental steps these days. Just to name a few...

1. They are rolling over from tummy to back more and more frequently. We are really seeing it while they are in their cribs when they wake up from their naps.
2. They are really starting to push up in preparation for crawling.
   
3. They are able to sit up with only minimal support from the boppy pillow.
4. They are starting to hold on to toys - particularly the bright colored and ones that make noises.
5. We are seeing both of them move their legs and arms in a full range of motion.
6. All veggies in level 1 have been tried and no allergies have come up. They are trying corn & sweet potatoes this week.
   
7. Fruits - they have tried applesauce, bananas and are on apples & cherries this week.
8. They are really paying attention to the TV....I guess we will have to be cognizant of how often it is on.
9. They did pretty well in high-chairs at a restaurant.
10. Still teething - but nothing as broke through.
    
11. They are learning to giggle at silly things. And the smiles are almost regular these days.
    

We took them to the park for the first time this past weekend and they got to try out a big kid's swing.

We have a couple of things coming up in the next couple of weeks.

• The boys baby dedication will be at our home church on Mother's Day.
• Uncle Chris(my brother) will be getting married at the end of May.
• Lillian (Nanny's daughter) will have her 1 yr birthday party in May.
• The boys are starting day care on June 1st.
